FA cup 5th round draw.

Arsenal are facing a tricky challenge for the FA cup having to meet Midsbrough at home. Midsbrough drowned Manchester City at the Etihad stadium last weekend getting a clean sheet of 2-0.
Manchester United will have to play a rematch against Cambridge after drawing at home. They have a big task ahead considering that Cambridge won't be ready to quit. The winner between Manchester United and Cambridge will meet the winner between Prestone and Sheffield United.
Stoke will visit Championship side Blackburn Rovers in the next round after beating Rochdale on Monday,
Crystal Palace will have to wait for the winner between Liverpool and Bolton to know the team they will be playing against.

Aston Villa will meet Leicester ,West Brom  will meet West Ham, Bradford will meet either Sunderland or Fulham, Blackburn will meet the winner between Stoke and Rochdale, Derby will meet Reading.These matches will be played on the of february 14/15

Deal for defensive midfielder done awaiting anouncement and Sanogo loan.

Arsenal are in agreement with defensive midfielder high rated Legia defensive midfielder Krystian Bielik. .

Arsenal's chief negotiator Dick Law reportedly flew to Warsaw to negotiate Krystian's to the emirates and reports indicate that they are in agreement and the announcement may be made soon.The player was at Arsenal on trials but his asking price of £2.5 put by Legia made Wenger hesitant to sign the player. The player is reported to have made a decision to join Arsenal
Two bids by Arsenal have reportedly been turned down by Legia.


Yaya Sanogo has joined crystal palace on loan.



The Arsenal striker has not been impressive enough at Arsenal to get the first XI position at Arsenal scoring only one premier league goal sine the start of the season.The 21-year-old joined Arsenal from Auxerre on a free transfer and played in the FA Cup final win over Hull in May.Crystal palace are known for causing misery to Chelsea by beating them towards the end of the season. The club is now under Pardew who made the perfect start  by overseeing a 2-1 comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.


Debuchy's injury update

Matheiu Deburchy could be sidelined for a long time even as Arsenals injury list grows. The defender who recently came from a three month injury seems he will be facing three months out of the Arsenal squad again after picking a shoulder injury during the game against Stoke city.
He is spending the day with a specialist to see whether surgery will be required for the dislocated shoulder.Arnautovic has apologized for the unnecessary shove on twitter, and Mark Hughes seconded saying "There was no malice."


 His position is currently handled by Hector Bellerin. The young star has impressed ever since he was elevated from the Arsenal academy clearly showing that he has a bright future at the Emirates stadium..

A star to complete Arsenal move within a fortnight

Arsenal target William Carvalho is set to complete his transfer to Arsenal within the next fortnight from Sporting Lisbon. The gunners have been linked to the 22 year old for some time now. Arsenal rivals Manchester united are also reportedly chasing his signature since last summer. Arsenal missed out on him last summer because he remained with his current club.
The deficiency of players in the defensive midfield position has made Wenger to look for a midfielder who can fill the position. Currently the position is filled by Arteta who is injured and flamini who is also sidelined.
Wenger's multiple bids last season did not materialize and he will be trying once again to sign the midfielder.The gunners have stepped up their efforts in signing him. They will have to spend an excess of  £25m for any move for the midfielder.
Wenger will need to strengthen the defensive in order to give the attackers the freedom of attacking the opponents at will so as to remain competitive in the title race.

Arsenal manager clears the air on Szczesny's smoking incident.

Arsene Wenger has finally talked about Szczesny's smocking incident terming it as a mistake that is not a big deal as people are putting it.He revealed that he used to smoke and was a cigarette salesman and used to smoke in the dugouts. Szczesny apologized and was fined £20,000 and he is also set to be benched during the Sunday game against Stock city .The Arsenal goalkeeper was blamed for the loss against Southampton where his errors caused Arsenal a defeat of 2-0 at St. Mary's. Arsenal will be looking for three points in order to remain among the title contenders. With the battle for the Champions league spot intensifying Arsenal wont like any more mistakes in order to bag all the three points at home.

Another Arsenal player set to leave the club this week

Arsenal have had two successful transfers this January that is Lucas Podolski who joined Intermillan on loan and Kristoffer Olsson making a  permanent transfer to FC Midtjylland. Reports indicate that Joe Campbel is set to leave the club this week for a loan spell until the end of the season, La Liga side Villarreal have reportedly joined Real Sociedad in in the race for the Arsenal forward according to the Daily Star.
The Costa Rica international impressed during the last year's world cup and champions league. however the young star is yet to get a first team position at Arsenal. He is also is expected to agree to fresh terms with the north London club before any deal to loan him out is agreed with the two sides.His agent is now expected in London this week to discuss a new deal with Arsenal and decide on where he will play his football until the end of the season.
